The best file transfer app for your Mac. Panic Transmit is an app which exist since several years and Panic too...Transmit is used on a daily basis to transfer files and it's been quite neat. The UI is eye friendly and it works well on the MacBook and the iPad.

This one compared with filezilla is that first, you would get a much better interface, second, you could treat the remote folder as a local folder and preview it, which is quite convenient.

For the purpose of keeping local folders in sync with folders in cloud storage, and automatically syncing the same files to an offline hard drive when it is plugged into my computer, Transmit is the easiest app I've worked with on macOS so far...The “sync” option is super intuitive and clearly shows what files will be created, overwritten, or modified.

Very useful, but confusing interface and poor help/instructions. I like this app very much but it took fussing around with clicking little pictues in the interface to figure out how to switch between files being accessed over internet connections and local files accessible to the computer.

Makes connecting to file servers too easy. Very easy to keep files organized on both local drives and servers. Saved lots of time with clear views and file structures.

If you have a requirement to transfer files from multiple sources, then this is a great tool. The only small thing is that it is doesn't show you the transfer processing and queue by default (you have to select to view from a menu) but otherwise an excellent App.
