This utility is a must-have for any MacBook user. It has fundamentally transformed how I interact with macOS. With extensive customization options, it stays conveniently in the background & exceeds expectations for a window management app. I highly recommend purchasing a license for your friends and family. Once they start using it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

So I recently came from windows to Mac, and frankly I was shocked how bad the macOS dock and the window management capabilities were (in comparison to the windows taskbar, and windows-key + arrows). After having played around with several apps, I think swish is the best solution for being able to move windows like you do on - well windows.
Swish is a window management application designed exclusively for macOS, focusing on enhancing user interaction through trackpad gestures. It addresses the limitations of macOS's built-in window management by introducing an intuitive gesture-based system for controlling windows and applications. Instead of relying on clicking and dragging, Swish enables users to perform actions like resizing, minimizing, maximizing, and snapping windows using simple two-finger swipes, pinches, and taps on their trackpad. This approach aims to streamline workflow and boost productivity, especially for users who heavily utilize trackpad gestures. Swish supports Magic Trackpad, Magic Mouse, and keyboard shortcuts, offering flexibility in control methods. It emphasizes a clean and native macOS feel, with features like haptic feedback to confirm gesture inputs. While it offers a wide array of gestures, it allows customization, enabling users to disable gestures they don't need and tailor the app to their specific workflow.
Swish offers a unique and efficient approach to window management on macOS, particularly beneficial for MacBook users who prefer trackpad interaction. Its intuitive gesture system can significantly speed up window organization and application control, making it a valuable tool for enhancing productivity. While it comes at a cost, either through a one-time purchase or Setapp subscription, many users find its workflow enhancements justify the investment. However, users less inclined to use trackpad gestures or those seeking free solutions might explore alternatives like Rectangle or Magnet.
