TweetDeck was a powerful social media dashboard application for managing Twitter accounts on macOS. It allowed users to organize their Twitter experience into customizable columns for timelines, mentions, messages, lists, and more, providing a real-time overview of their social media activity. Note: TweetDeck for Mac is no longer available as of July 1, 2022, but it is still accessible as a web application.

Easy to use but not optimized. The TweetDeck columns are customizable so users can adjust to suit their needs. There is a real-time update that allows us to stay informed...

A social media must-have for planning. TweetDeck is a pioneer in scheduling, analyzing, and posting Tweets. It makes things efficient for people interested in Twitter.

I found TweetDeck performing massive phoning-home. Not acceptable. It's now verboten on my Macs. I use Twitter on the net or iOS app instead.

TweetDeck has always been looked up to as the power-user's go-to Twitter app thanks to a huge feature set, its multi-column layout, quick filtering...TweetDeck users are not going to like this update. Here's just a sample of what's been removed: Inline image previews; Quick profiles; Narrow columns; Single column view; Foursquare and LinkedIn account integration; In-column filtering (relocated to settings); Interface tweaking; Several image and link services. Maybe it is a lot simpler than than the old TweetDeck, but at least it is significantly easier to use.
TweetDeck was a popular and powerful Twitter client for Mac, designed for users who needed to manage multiple Twitter accounts and stay on top of real-time information. Its key feature was the customizable multi-column interface, which allowed users to view different streams of information simultaneously, such as their home timeline, mentions, direct messages, lists, search results, and more. This made it highly efficient for social media professionals, marketers, and active Twitter users.
While the native TweetDeck application for macOS is no longer available since July 1, 2022, users can still access TweetDeck as a web application through their browsers. The web version retains the core functionality of the desktop app, offering a similar column-based interface and features for managing Twitter activity.
TweetDeck for Mac was a valuable tool for power users of Twitter, offering a level of organization and real-time monitoring that the standard Twitter interface couldn't match. Although the dedicated Mac application has been discontinued, the web version continues to provide a robust platform for managing Twitter, retaining its key strengths in multi-column viewing and account management. For users who relied on the Mac app, alternatives like Tweeten and Tweetbot offer similar desktop experiences, while the TweetDeck web app remains a viable option for those who prefer its interface and features.
